It was just like old times at Zuccotti Park on Tuesday night, as protesters marched to the tiny downtown Manhattan square with their sleeping bags and police rolled out the paddy wagons. After marching from Union Square to Zuccotti Park -- where Occupy Wall Street began on Sept. 17, 2011 -- demonstrators rolled out sleeping bags and lay down, tweeted Andrew Katz, a Columbia journalism student who frequently covers Occupy. But the cops were waiting with some 13 vans, Katz noted, and toward midnight, they started making arrests. On its main site, Occupy Wall Street reported 10 people had been arrested as of about 1 a.m. Wednesday. Gothamist reported via Twitter that eight had been arrested. One live-streamer posted this video from just after the arrests, which shows people standing around Zuccotti, but no longer lying down.

Update (10:27 a.m. EST): Gothamist posted this video of the arrests in progress. They do appear pretty random, though without being there to see the full context its hard to say that for sure.
