Mike McQueary, famed for observing Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky sexually assaulting a child, is now filing a whistleblower lawsuit against his university, and while details are still thin, any case with McQueary will eventually make big news, we imagine. 

McQueary filed a writ of summons Tuesday, according to The Centre Daily Times' Mike Dawson, which just means that he intends to sue. There aren't many details on his grievances yet. But a whistleblower suit seems to indicate that he's upset with the way Penn State has treated him. Penn State placed him on indefinite leave as anger over his role grew. McQueary's always stood on precarious and confused ground with the public -- we even dubbed him the public enemy number one in the scandal at one point -- and the details of what he did after seeing the alleged crime and who he told have often been muddled  -- making this a story to watch as it unfolds.
