Jon Stewart Not Exactly Bowled Over by These 2012 GOP Hopefuls
Herman Cain visits Jon Stewart on The Daily Show's Tampa set, and Stewart asks: Why are some of these delegates still more enthusiastic about Herman Cain than Mitt Romney?
Cain, formerly a Republican primary candidate, answered that Romney just has a different personality than him. Stewart's response: "What you're saying, though, is that he has a personality?" In typical Cain showman style, he explains that some people--like Romney--tend to voluntary or involuntarily suppress their personalities. Cain, on the other hand, doesn't "suppress my personality at all. What you see is what you get!"
And on zero percent of black people wanting to vote for Romney in the polls? Cain has an explanation for that, too. "They were working when they did the poll! Believe it or not, some black people have jobs and careers and they run businesses. They didn't take that into account, Jon."
