Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg survived cancer twice, so we already knew she was tough, but now it turns out she broke two ribs early in June and didn't even think the injury was serious enough to take time off work.

Of course, June was a big month for the Supreme Court of the United States. For example, there was that decision to uphold President Barack Obama's healthcare legislation. But the 79-year-old Ginsburg, who tripped at home and broke her ribs on June 4, didn't just show up for the big day. She kept on with her workaday routine, including speaking engagements and trips: "Ginsburg spoke at a legal conference in New York on June 8, then at a conference in Washington, D.C., on June 15 and continued with scheduled travels to Europe in July," Reuters' Joan Biskupic reported. "She indeed did not skip a beat and did not feel it rose to a serious health concern," court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said.
