Now that The New York Times pay wall is live, you only get 10 free clicks a month. For those worried about hitting their limit, we're taking a look through the paper each morning to find the stories that can make your clicks count.

Top Stories: Though they lean Democratic, unmarried women are a demographic toward which both campaigns are looking. In Germany, focus on an Olympic rower and her boyfriend who has demonstrated ties to extreme right-wing politics

World: Greece was the site of "mass detentions" over the weekend in a search for illegal immigrants, and the minister of the public order said the country had an “unprecedented invasion.” India has a large population of stray dogs, which " bite millions of people annually" and lead to rabies infections

U.S.: After the shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin some Sikhs said that the attack "revived bitter memories of the period just after the Sept. 11 attacks when their distinctive turbans and beards seemed to trigger harassment and violence by people who wrongly assumed that they were militant Muslims."

New York: The numbers of black residents on the Upper East Side have "remained exceedingly low for decades."

Business: Cardiologists in Florida branches of the for-profit hospital chain HCA were found to be performing "unnecessary" procedures.

Science: The landing of the Curiosity was, for NASA, a "chance to parry accusations of being slow, bloated and rudderless."

Sports: Cyclists — "particularly track sprinters" — have enormous quadriceps, a trait which "is less an Olympic oddity than a necessity specific to their sport."

Music: Afrobeat band Antibalas is trying to feed off attention surrounding the form of music they play.

Opinion: Frank Bruni on Republican convention speakers.
