California Rep. Zoe Lofgren reached out to Redditors for ideas on new Internet legislation. The gesture was surely well intentioned, but as one of our commenters noted, the idea of Reddit writing our laws is a bit terrifying. Nate Jones writes:
Next steps for Reddit: Outlawing The Friendzone and installing "ephebophilia" as a legal concept.
Three other commenters wish they hadn't Googled "ephebophilia." Don't make the same mistake.
