Now You Have to Pay to Watch Jon Stewart Argue with Bill O'Reilly
In Bill O'Reilly's mind, Christmas doesn't exclude people from other faiths because Christianity isn't a religion. Jon Stewart tore that argument to shreds Monday night, but one commenter notes that Stewart won't be able to halt Fox News' breathless coverage of the "war" on Christmas. Jerry Renshaw writes:
It'd be nice if Stewart's rant finally put this "war on Christmas" nonsense to rest, but it won't.
Of course not. Fox knows that stoking holiday-related rage in conservatives viewers translates into great ratings. And advertisers must love it, too. All that bickering really makes one want to go out and buy some extravagant gifts, doesn't it?
