Jon Stewart Takes on the Entire Internet Over the New Monopoly Cat

When Hasbro announced in early January that it would replace one of the iconic Monopoly tokens with a much "cooler" one — to be decided by an Internet-wide vote — Daily Show host Jon Stewart, like many others, thought the choice was obvious: the 50s-era robot. "You gotta be kidding me," Stewart said last night. "Who would not pick robot?" Alas, it was not the robot who won — it was the cat. Yes, the Internet — home of I Can Haz Cheezburger — elected its unofficial mascot as Monopoly's newest token.
