A shooter stormed into a courthouse Monday morning in Wilmington, Delaware, opening fire as people were starting to show up for work that day. One of those people, attorney Jennifer Lubinski, ended up documenting pretty much the entire horrifying scene on Twitter, and in pretty unprecedented fashion.

According to multiple reports, shortly after 8 a.m. a male shooter entered the lobby of Newcastle County Courthouse and opened fire. The Associated Press were the first to report the man shot and killed his wife before injuring two others. In a press conference moments ago, a Delaware police sergeant confirmed two women were killed and two security officers were injured in the shooting. The gunman never got through a security checkpoint in the courthouse, so he never had to pass through a metal detector.

It's a scary scene to start the week. And Lubinski is a Baltimore lawyer who got to the courthouse for civil case duty, then proceeded to document her experience on Twitter. It's a terrifying chronicle of yet another shooting in the age of the live-tweet, but it's also perhaps one of the most detailed and lengthy accountings of citizen journalism from someone hiding from a gunmen in public:

Lubinkski's entire Twitter stream from this morning is a fascinating read.

As pointed out by Fox's Philadelphia affiliate, Wilmington police chief Christine Dunning was supposed to speak at a roundtable discussion on gun safety with law enforcement officials at Girard College Monday morning morning led by Vice President Joe Biden.
