Holiday Vid: NORAD's Santa Tracker

As the Wire noted yesterday, Christmas not only inspires pundits to strain for holiday-themed columns, but also criminals to don a white beard instead of a ski mask. The holiday spirit apparently inspires some overreaching from the military as well, with its annual NORAD Santa tracking. (See below.) As Alan Boyle covering the event at ZDNet is careful to report, NORAD spokesman Maj. Jamie Robertson says taxpayers shouldn't worry: there's "practically no cost" to them through the military budget in tracking Santa.
