Glenn Beck

Glenn Beck has hosted a nationally syndicated radio show since 2000 and a program on Fox News since 2008. More information

Few can match Beck's popularity with grassroots conservatives, and his influence is rising as his audience and reputation grow. Concerned primarily with protecting individual rights—especially with a Democratic-controlled Congress and a Democratic president—Beck appeals to libertarian sensibilities as old as the republic.

A populist hero to the right and a bogeyman to the left, Beck spearheaded the successful campaign for the resignation of Van Jones, an Obama White House aide tied to a radical petition. Beck endured an advertiser boycott for saying that Obama had a "deep-seated hatred for white people," though the remark seems to have only enhanced his ratings.

Eric Massa Interview

"I wasn't forced out. I forced myself out. I failed. I didn't live up to my own codes. I own this. I take full and complete responsibility for my misbehavior."

Land Grab by the Feds?

We are going to go down in the world history books as a suicidal nation. When we lose everything, do you think Russia won't come over here and protect this land and resources better than we do? It's a suicide mission. We as citizens must stop hoping for change. We must pray for it and demand change. This course is unsustainable.

Massa the Problem, or the Solution?

I think the game could be coming undone in Washington. A congressman — a Democratic congressman — Eric Massa, from New York, is at the center of some controversy. It started when he voted against cap and trade. That hacked off top Democrats. Now he is against Obama's health care plan too.

What are Your Kids Learning?

There is a concerted effort to indoctrinate your children with progressive propaganda, going on right now. It's everywhere: the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, with the global warming agenda. And many of our nation's schools are hitting our kids with the full progressive assault.

America's Like an Old Chair

So what do we do? We have to decide: Is America worth saving? Do we want to go back to the founding principles of the country? If we believe it's worth saving, we've got to assess the damage. What are the structural flaws? There are massive federal agencies; corruption; out-of-control spending; career politicians; special interests; a nanny state mentality, and progressivism.

Obama's Health Care Flip-Flop

So that's what's happening. They just want a return on their investment. They spent at least $75 million on the election and that's just this one union. And now they demand results.

Doomed to Repeat History

Have you ever heard the phrase: Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it? It's true and I've been warning for the last seven years — starting with President Bush — that we're giving the government too much power.

What's in a Name?

I believe that most people in this country — no matter what their label is — are inherently for whatever gives them the most freedom. Except for the radicals who actually believe in the far-left stuff.

Thinking Outside the Box

Now, we're no longer allowing these natural dips to happen. I'm telling you that the argument coming in the near future will be that capitalism isn't working. We need to try something else. The problem with the argument is: we're not a capitalist country. We have haven't been in quite some time. We continue to prop things up. We're not allowing the capitalist system to clear out.

The Lies Politicians Tell

How do you make that work in your head and sleep at night? Here's the next question: How does the media sleep at night? Here is the president claiming he has nothing to do with a scandal-ridden organization, when in reality he's saying "I'll call you first"? On the very same day ACORN is in the news for dissolving nationally, the media has to go out of their way to miss this! Why are they silent?

Choose Your Own Adventure

We are not idiots. Obama treats health care as if it's separate from spending. They are one in the same. I don't care how many new taxes you conjure up to make it "deficit neutral" — spoiler alert: It will cost money.

Who in Washington has the stones to step forward and say: 'You're not getting Social Security until you're 80'? Nobody. Nobody. Unless they just want to tell you the truth.

Progressives Corrupt Kids

You see, it's not enough now for the kids to disagree on something and discuss it. Oh, no, no. Mom and Dad are stupid. They believe in that crazy, like, Constitution stuff

To Progressives, Agenda Trumps Truth

The progressive agenda is more important than the truth to these people. And here's the great news: people are starting to see through the lies. It doesn't make any sense! It's only cold because it's hot? Every claim made by the media, every claim made by now scientists and our government--it's all bogus.

Soaking the Rich Never Works

We have a clear choice: Do we listen to the elites and The New York Times who warns of the dangers of cutting spending and lowering taxes? Or do we listen to our gut and common sense? The things that work in our own home. If the boss is having trouble keeping the doors open, you don't ask for a raise. If you are in debt, you stop spending.
