The Index of Sarah Palin Book Indexes

Why does Sarah Palin's memoir, Going Rogue, lack an index? Some speculate the publisher didn't have time, others suggest Palin wanted to thumb her nose at Washington establishment figures who would have searched for themselves in the back pages. Whatever the reason, the lacuna was much lamented and remarked-upon. So a handful of journalists have taken it on themselves to write their own Going Rogue index, including The New Republic's Seyward Darby, Slate's Christopher Beam and Huffington Post's Marcus Baram.
