Liberals quickly spun Sen. Joe Lieberman's obstinate rejection of any and all measures resembling a public-option as an acceptable loss to pass reform, while mainstream pundits puzzled over Lieberman's motives. Stephen Colbert, meanwhile, sang Lieberman's praises in a lusty hymn title, "For He's a Jowly Good Fellow."
