Happy Hour Vid: Gov. Paterson Rejects Resignation Rumors

John Hudson Feb 9, 2010
At a Tuesday press conference, New York Governor David Paterson sharply repudiated rumors that he'll resign from office. "The only way I'm not going to be governor next year is at the ballot box and the only way that I'll be leaving office before is in a box" Paterson said.  Many have speculated that a soon-to-be-published New York Times story will reveal a damaging personal scandal. However, he reaffirmed his commitment to running for reelection "The more frustrated I get, the more I know I am going to be running," he said.
