Happy Hour Vid: Ron Paul Sees Fed's Hand in Watergate, Saddam Hussein

Heather Horn 172 Views Feb 24, 2010
When Fed chairman Ben Bernanke testified before Congress today, Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) used his five minutes to air a remarkable string of conspiracy theories. He's found reason to believe the Federal Reserve was not only involved in the Watergate scandal of the Nixon years, but also passed cash to Saddam Hussein to purchase weapons and a nuclear reactor. (The good stuff starts around 2:00.) Bernanke denied all knowledge of such plots, calling the tales "absolutely bizarre." Does Barney Frank (D-MA) at the end of the video, though, appear to be genuinely intrigued?
