Happy Hour Vid: Birthers Stonewall Anderson Cooper

Alex Eichler 158 Views May 10, 2010
CNN host Anderson Cooper is known for keeping his cool during interview segments, so it was a bit odd to watch him Friday night, when he spoke on-air with Lieutenant Colonel Terrence Lakin and his attorney, Paul Jensen. Lakin is the Army doctor who was court-martialed last month for refusing to perform a second tour of Afghanistan until Barack Obama could prove that he was a citizen.

In the clip below, Lakin lets his attorney do most of the talking. As Jensen repeatedly dismisses the validity of the Hawaii "certificate of live birth" the White House has made available, Cooper gets more and more annoyed--both with Jensen's parries and with Lakin's strategy of sitting out the conversation.
