Vid: 'Funny or Die' Attempts To Make Alabaman Campaign Ad Even Funnier

Max Fisher May 19, 2010
Dale Peterson's over-the-top campaign ad for the obscure GOP primary for Alabama agriculture commission attracted wide attention for its unintentional humor, insight into Alabaman politics, and for being, as one blogger put it, "The most American thing ever made."

We did not think anything could be more entertaining than this ad. But humor website Funny or Die is attempting to make the unusual spot even better with this new parody. It's funny, but it's most striking for how similar it is to the original. They did not have to change much to cross the line into parody.
