Happy Hour Vid: Jon Stewart Does Double-Take on Rep. Barton

On Thursday night, Jon Stewart covered the circus of BP testimony before Congress. Colby Hall at Mediaite finds a particularly entertaining bit in which Stewart reacts to the big story of the afternoon, which was Republican Rep. Joe Barton's apology to BP for the $20 billion compensation account President Obama had pressured them to fund. The apology caused some consternation among Capitol Hill conservatives, many of whom hastened to say they disagreed with Barton.

Stewart does them (and Democratic Rep. Ed Markey of Massachusetts, for that matter) one better and suggests some slightly stronger language. The goods start just before the five-minute mark. Take a look:
