Lunchtime Vid: George Will Warns of U.S. Becoming Venezuela of the North

Often a careful and thoughtful (if verbose) commentator, conservative columnist and Atlantic 50 mainstay George Will offered a fairly stark take on Rep. Joe Barton's apology to BP during an appearance on ABC's This Week. "There's no defense of BP, which has an excoriable safety record in this country," said Will, addressing the escrow fund that was the subject of Barton's controversial statement. "But, if you don't want to live in a northern hemisphere Venezuela, you ought to be a little queasy"
