Morning Vid: Rahm Emanuel Sees No Future for BP CEO in PR Consulting

On This Week, flame-tongued White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel seeks to elicit a chuckle by commenting on the career prospects of BP CEO Tony Hayward. (Lately seen, after his embarrassing stonewalling on Capitol Hill and his demotion from day-to-day management, enjoying his yacht off the Isle of Wight.) Emanuel's take on Hayward's path:
Well, to quote Tony Hayward, he’s got his life back, as he would say I think we can all conclude that Tony Hayward is not going to have a second career in PR consulting. This has just been part of a long line of PR gaffes and mistakes. ... This will be fodder. People will chew over this. But don't take your eye off the major priorities, which is dealing with the problems, and dealing with the problems in the region...
