New Limbaugh Biography: A Microcosm of the Conservative Movement?
Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski is most widely recognized for being Frank Murkowski's heir and Sarah Palin's mortal enemy. If the results of last night's GOP Senate primary hold up, she can add "Tea Party collateral damage" to her resume. As of this afternoon, Murkowski trails former Joe Wilson by nearly 2000 votes. Twitter was caught off guard.

This ends with Murkowski hooking up with Levi Johnston in some weird, sad alliance. I can just feel it.
Nate Silver, whose blog is now hosted by New York Times, could have predicted this if anyone bothered to give him his precious data.
Don't think Murkowski's (probable) loss should be thought of as all THAT shocking. Nobody had polled the race in 6 weeks.

@jmartpolitico Apparently Murkowski would have to run as a secessionist. But I supposed that's better than write-in.
...at which point radio contact with Alaska was cut off for good.
Not a good sign - this Alaska Dems call almost inaudible due to bad connex/speakerphone they've got going on.
