Now that you mention it--he does kind of resemble Clark Kent. Satirical news outlet The Onion has drawn a brilliant connection between two of America's most unassuming journalists: The New York Times' well-behaved David Brooks and Daily Planet's peaceable Clark Kent. In today's "News in Photos" section the Onion offered this groundbreaking insight:

Is David Brooks actually Superman? His daily reading habits are pretty extraordinary. An even better question: which version of Clark Kent does he most resemble?
