George Will vs. Barbara Boxer

Ray Gustini 345 Views Aug 3, 2010
Several weeks ago in a Newsweek column about the Barbara Boxer-Carly Fiorina Senate race, George Will claimed it was "theoretically impossible to fashion an abortion position significantly more extreme than Boxer’s, which is slightly modified infanticide." This prompted Boxer to write an angry letter to the editor (sadly not online), in which she accused Will of distorting her views on partial-birth abortions. Not to be outdone, Will has now written another column, this time rebutting Boxer's rebuttal.

On the whole, it's kind of confusing, since Will's curious habit of narrating YouTube clips fails to translate to the printed page (or magazine websites that don't know how to embed), but he does up the red-meat quotient by citing Boxer's "intellectual chaos." Your serve, Senator.
