Democrats looking to get fired up for the midterm elections aren't getting a lot of help from Bill Clinton. A day after telling CBS's Bob Schieffer that the anger fueling the Tea Party movement was "totally understandable," the former president called Sarah Palin a "resilient character" and warned Democrats against underestimating her chances in 2012 during a taped an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos.
"I think she's clearly a public figure who speaks well and persuasively to the people who listen to her," Clinton told Stephanopoulos. "I think she's somebody to be reckoned with. She's tough."
