Morning Vid: Lady Gaga Makes the Case for Repealing 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'

Ray Gustini Sep 17, 2010

Lady Gaga came out against Don't Ask Don't Tell in a 2009 interview with Barbara Walters. She continued the fight this week with a new video on her website urging fans to call their senators and support a repeal of the ban, which is expected to come before the Senate as part of the military reauthorization bill next week. "We are asking you to do your job, to protect the constitution," the singer said. Sadly, Gaga was unable to get in touch with her senator, New York Democrat Chuck Schumer. After eleven rings, she finally just leaves a message.
