Video: Make Sure You Have a Designated Driver, Warns Anthony Weiner

Caitlin Dickson 30 Views Jan 19, 2011
The House of Representatives met today to discuss the Republican-backed repeal of Obama’s health care law. New York Representative Anthony Weiner provided a “half-time wrap up for the debate,” which was pretty much a rant against the Republicans’ motivation for repealing Obamacare. Weiner points to “a philosophical division” between those who are “in love with insurance companies,” and those who “believe we need to make sure people get health insurance.”

The New York representative’s main argument here is that in advocating for repeal, Republican members of congress “make stuff up.” Because of this, Weiner very considerately takes a moment to warn the folks at home who might be playing “that now popular drinking game of you take a shot whenever something is not true. Please, assign a designated driver--this is going to be a long afternoon.”
