—Senator Rand Paul, directing his ire about his malfunctioning personal appliances toward the Energy Department in a hearing of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources on Thursday. He later circled back to the subject, chastising the Energy Department for inefficient product standards. "We don’t even save any money," he said. "We have to flush the toilet 10 times before it works."
