These days, not even Republicans want to be associated with former reality TV star Sarah Palin. But we didn't think her stock had fallen quite as far as this: Public Policy Polling has her trailing Charlie Sheen in a presidential poll.

According to a nationally representative sample "independent voters say they would support Charlie Sheen over Palin for President by a 41/36 margin. Seriously." PPP notes that Palin can take stock in the fact that she does lead Sheen in overall voters 49 to 29 percent. But, still, it's a brutal poll result. How did the President do against the #Winning star? "We also tested Barack Obama against Sheen and the President leads 57-24," the polling firm writes.

Public Policy Polling has occasionally been questioned about leaning left, but it's not entirely clear what the implications would be on this particular poll.
