Donald Trump's big personality and big hair look so much smaller in the wake of President Obama's huge national security victory. But the maybe-presidential candidate soldiers on. Monday night he was out among fancy New York people, saying he hoped bin Laden's last moments weren't peaceful, even as one advertiser drops his show. This is Trumpdate.

• An Advertiser Fires Donald Only one company, discounter Groupon, has pulled its ads from Celebrity Apprentice in light of Trump's racially charged statements questioning where Obama was born and how he got into college. The Hollywood Reporter's Daniel Miller called the three dozen other companies that advertise on the show, most did not return calls or refused to comment. Goupon is not a "blue chip marketer," an ad analyst told Miller, so it's unlikely other companies wil follow it's lead. Plus, "Since Trump’s comments were not said on the program, advertisers will have the ability to separate between Celebrity Apprentice and Trump the possible presidential candidate," the analyst said. Liberal site Think Progress has been pushing for an advertiser boycott, but it has not been as successful as the Media Matters campaign that cost Glenn Beck some 300 advertisers.
• Fair Fight? As much as he loves the spotlight, Trump did not enjoy his thorough skewering at the hands of Obama and Seth Meyers at the White House Correspondents' Dinner Saturday night. Trump sat in stony-faced silence, and later mock Meyers as a "stutterer." But maybe it's fair for Trump to feel ambushed. Turns out Obama got help with his zingers from Daily Show writer Kevin Bleyer, the Hollywood Reporter's Kimberly Nordyke reports. Bleyer's work for the president was independent of Jon Stewart's show. Among Obama's shots at Trump: "I know he's taken some flack lately, but no one is prouder to put this birth certificate issue to rest than Donald, and that's because he can get back to the issues that matter, like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?"
• Not Feeling OBL's Pain Trump congratulated Obama on the raid that killed Osama bin Laden Sunday and called for a quieting of party politics while the nation celebrated. But at the Costume Institute Gala at New York's Metropolitan Museum on Monday night, Trump happily offered his thoughts on the al Qaeda leader's death. "I think it's so great that he was caught and I hope he really suffered a lot, to be honest with you," Trump said. "And I suspect he did. But he's a bad guy, and that's what happens." As for suspicions Pakistan was protecting bin Laden given that his hideout was in the capital's suburbs, Trump called the situation "a little unusual."
