If the best revenge is living well, then Mercede Johnston may not be getting the very best revenge possible against nemesis Sarah Palin. The New York Post reports that Johnston--sister of Levi Johnston, the father of Palin's grandson--will pose nude for Playboy, and a four-page pictorial will appear next to the magazine's report on Palin. Johnston is quoted in the story (Palin and her family are not); perhaps she'll include some swipes like this one from her blog, in response to Bristol Palin's allegation that Levi stole her virginity: "Does anybody really believe a good Christian girl, such as Bristol claims to be, would really lose her virginity in a tent?"

But if Johnston's stripping is an attempt to get back at the Palins, it seems like a weak one. A gossip blog claims that unlike her brother's pics for Playgirl, Johnston will "show it all" for Playboy. But she was paid less than $25,000 to to do it, the Post reports. That sum looks awfully puny compared to the $262,500 Candies paid Bristol in 2009 to talk about not taking off any clothes until marriage.
