The conventional wisdom is that Sarah Palin has a bad relationship with the press--they pick apart her every word, she makes fun of them, they dig into her boring emails, she dodges their questions. It's a vicious cycle, maybe. Or maybe Palin is the only major politician to have the soul of a journalist. No one hates reporters more than other reporters.
I want the mainstream media--and I've said this for a couple years now--I want to help them.I have a journalism degree. That is what I studied. I understand that this cornerstone of our democracy is a free press, is sound journalism. I want to help them build back their reputation and allow Americans to be able to trust what it is that they're reporting.
Hoosiers, Rudy, any of those underdog stories where somebody's facing less than ideal circumstances, tough challenge and they don’t give up, they keep plugging away, they work harder than the other guy so they get farther than the other guy. Those are the type of movies I love.
