The Washington Post is reporting that House Speaker John Boehner has told GOP lawmakers that negotiations with the White House on a new $3 trillion debt deal are making progress, and that it could "come together soon enough for the House to consider by Wednesday of next week." As we told you earlier today, Politico had a similar story about Boehner targeting a Wednesday vote, but this story is more fleshed out, and has a handy timeline tracking the step-by-step process the legislation will go through over the next week.
