Report: Rumsfeld's Back in Politics and He Just Helped Out Rick Perry
Conservatives may be fretting about Rick Perry's tone, but he doesn't seem to be. Less than two days removed from equating the Federal Reserve's recent actions to treason, the newly anointed GOP frontrunner was quoted by Reuters at a breakfast in Bedford, New Hampshire with remarks that suggest how he'd treat the agency. "They should open their books up," Perry said. "They should be transparent so that the people of the United States know what they are doing ... It would go a long way to showing if there had been activities that had been improper."
Perry also had a retort for President Obama, who on Tuesday remarked that the Texas governor should be more careful about what he said on the campaign trail. "The president said I needed to watch what I say," Perry said according to The Note. "I just want to respond back if I may. Mr. President, actions speak louder than words. My actions as governor are helping create jobs in this country. The president's actions are killing jobs in this country. It's time to get America working again."
