Michele Bachmann's presidential campaign is reportedly in financial trouble -- is her team so broke they can't write their own jokes? On Friday, in attacking Rick Perry for saying those who don't giving illegal immigrants in-state college tuition "have no heart," Bachmann said something that was eerily familiar: "It’s just that we have a mind to go with that heart." As Talking Points Memo's Evan McMorris-Santoro notes, Mitt Romney said nearly the exact same thing a week earlier: "I think if you’re opposed to illegal immigration, it doesn’t mean that you don't have a heart. It means that you have a heart and a brain." A case of plagiarism or great minds thinking alike? Romney probably hopes the former.
