Senate Rejects House Republicans Disaster Aid Bill

As expected, the Senate voted down the House Republican's disaster aid bill that only narrowly passed early on Friday morning. Reuters reported that Democrats had enough votes to kill the bill. And now National Journal adds that the bill was rejected by a 59-36 margin. Looks like it's back to the drawing board to avert a potential government shutdown.
