President Obama has addressed Occupy Wall Street again, saying "they're not that different from some of the protests we saw coming from the Tea Party." Obama has noted the protester's "frustrations" before, but he made the comparison between the protesters and the Tea Partiers who do not like Obama (or being compared to Occupy Wall Street) for the first time in an interview with ABC News's Jake Tapper, who has a few quotes from it on his blog:
I understand the frustrations being expressed in those protests... In some ways, they're not that different from some of the protests that we saw coming from the Tea Party. Both on the left and the right, I think people feel separated from their government. They feel that their institutions aren’t looking out for them.
The interview is airing on Tuesday's Nightline.
