President Obama Dropped By 'The Tonight Show' Last Night

Barack Obama made his second visit as a sitting president to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to talk about serious topics (Libya, Iraq, Osama bin Laden) and also goof on the Republican presidential candidates.

The wide-ranging interview took up three segments of the show — like he's some kind of movie star! — was part press conference, part stump speech, and (a very small) part sketch show. The president last sat down with Leno in 2009.

Leno opened with the "hard news" questions giving the president a chance to work in some sound bites about the deaths of Muammar Qaddafi and Osama bin Laden. Obama followed that up by promoting his jobs bill, heaped praise on Hillary Clinton, then shut the door on the "Biden out as VP" rumors.

The third and final segment was the "funny" part where Leno set up him for some "real guy" moments, giving Obama a chance to talk TV and basketball and get some zingers in at the GOP.

We highlighted his one cool moment below, but you can watch the entire interview on Hulu.
