Rick Perry explained that he isn't trying to reignite the birther issue, "I was having some fun with Donald Trump," in an interview with Tampa Bay's Bay News 9. "Having fun" is quickly becoming Perry's go-to line since his CNBC interview and now Perry believes comparing grades with the president will be a new source of entertainment. "It's fun, you know lighten up a a little bit ... I have no doubt about it [Barack Obama being an American Citizen] ... Let's lay out income taxes, let's lay out our college transcripts..."  

You know what else is Perry-approved fun?  Apparently firearms. Asked by the station about carrying a gun in Florida, the Texas governor responded, "That's why they call it a concealed weapon."
