In Iowa, as Politico reported, Rick Perry is debuting new ads geared to tout his job-creating prowess, and the message is a stark contrast to his pulse-pounding, sci-fi thriller web trailer he released a few weeks ago. The Iowa ad  "Creating Jobs," boasts the candidate touting 2.5 million created jobs and adds footage of the Texas governor shaking hands with homebuilders and stock shots of sunsets on oil drilling facilities. It reminds a bit of a classroom PowerPoint presentation, mostly because of the static grey background. "I'll eliminate Obama's regulations that hurt other sources of domestic energy," he says matter-of-factly. Who would've thought that a Rick Perry ad could be so low-key?
