Though the running media chorus has been that Occupy Wall Street is the left's answer to the Tea Party movement, the former doesn't seem as keen on making themselves heard at the voting booth as the latter. A new Fordham University survey found that 25 percent of Occupy Wall Street protesters at Zuccotti Park plan to skip voting in the 2012 presidential election. Of course, before anyone rushes to conclusion of Obama's base collapsing, that's roughly the same number of those polled who said they didn't vote in 2008 either. Though the Occupiers tend to be college-educated and "very liberal," according to Costas Panagopoulos, the survey's author, the fact these protesters won't be voting might not be that bad a thing for President Obama: 78 percent of the protesters say they disapprove of Obama's performance and only 25 percent identify with the Democratic Party to begin with.
