A poll worker in Ohio has allegedly innovated a new form of voter intimidation: biting the voter's face.

Election day rover James Norm Williams and a woman got in an heated argument over whether or not the woman's signs were too close to the polling station -- the law requires campaign signs be a certain distance away from the door -- when the dispute turned "combative," according to the Brooklyn, Ohio, ABC affiliate NewsChannel5.

When Greg Flanagan stepped in to defend the woman, Williams allegedly bit him on the nose.

"It was not immediately clear if Flanagan got the opportunity to vote," the station reports.

Williams fled the scene and has not been charged.
