Thousands of 30-Rock fans in New York City who hoped to one day tick a box next to Alec Baldwin's name in a mayoral election will be disappointed to hear that it's not happening. Alec Baldwin broke the bad news in a WNYC podcast interview. "I’ve lost my appetite," Baldin said on "Here's the Thing" on Wednesday afternoon. As recently as two weeks ago, Baldwin let speculation fly that he would be interested in running the Big Apple, but after his Words with Friends shake-up on an American Airlines flight, it appears he's changed his mind about a life of public service -- and politicians, too. "They’re like a guy on a date that you can tell he just can’t wait to get his hand up your blouse before even the lights go out in the theater," Baldwin said, blaming his decision behind not to run for mayor in part on politicians' sometimes sleazy ambition and lust for power. "They're all just so horny for it."
