Even CSPAN Admits That Today's Prank Call Was Well-Played

CSPAN

Judging by past prank calls on CSPAN, this morning's prank caller doesn't really deliver on the funny part, but we'll give him points for persistence and getting some CSPAN validation. It's the second time in two days someone has trolled CSPAN and mentioned something about Mitt Romney's genitalia on the air. Perhaps it's hilarious if you find the proximity of the words "penis" and "Mitt Romney" funny.  But the best part of the call however (video below) is the wind-up as "Carl" successfully baits Paul Orgel into explaining the fast and loose screening process CSPAN has with its calls (no delay, there are no rules!) before blitzing Orgel with a brain-glazing description of Republican attacks on Romney and his unfunny Mitt Romney penis joke. Without skipping a beat, and proving his attention didn't drift--it's Orgel and CSPAN's version of "well-played" that makes this prank call shine.
