Huntsman Boasts of Endorsement from 28-Year-Old Jeb Bush Jr.
Laura Bush revealed Wednesday that she and her husband George W. Bush wanted the president's brother, former governor of Florida Jeb Bush, to run for president in 2012. They're certainly not the first to yearn for a President Bush Part III, but Jeb Bush has said pretty emphatically that he won't run. Previously pretty quiet on the topic of the Republican primary, Laura Bush spoke to a crowd in Sarasota saying she and her husband "wish he would" run, reports the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. Of course, her statement comes in a year when a Bush endorsement might not actually be very desirable among Republicans who want to distance themselves from his presidency, but then, we're pretty sure, short of a name change, Jeb Bush was going to have a pretty tough time with that anyway
