Winning Our Future, Newt Gingrich's Super PAC, will spend a whopping $6 million on ads in Florida ahead of the primary to highlight Mitt Romney's Massachusetts health care law. That comes pretty close to the $9 million Romney's Super PAC Restoring Our Future (those names!) has already spent there, and that's big news for Gingrich who everyone once said wouldn't be able to compete with the Romney campaign's money. Gingrich got another $5 million donation from his very generous casino mogul friend Sheldon Adelson. It seems odd to us that the PAC would spend his money on a health care attack when the focus so far has mostly been on Romney's wealth and record at Bain, but Philip Klein from the Washington Times notes that as RomneyCare attacks go, this one's pretty effective, so we'll have to wait and see how it plays.
