Say goodbye to glitter-bombing. Sources have revealed to the AP that Rick Santorum will  receive Secret Service Protection on Tuesday. The report says that administration officials will honor Santorum's request, while Newt Gingrich is still awaiting his approval.  According to Fox News, Santorum requested the protection after "Occupy Tacoma" protesters glitter-bombed and heckled the Republican frontrunner earlier this month. It should be noted that out of the remaining candidates, Santorum has been the favored glitter bombing target of late, and that coupled with his current popularity seems warrant Secret Service protection. The AP notes: "Federal law allows candidates to seek protection if they meet a series of standards, including public prominence as measured by polls and fundraising." No word on Santorum's Secret Service codename, but we have a recommendation: "Sweater vest."
