GOP Passes Paul Ryan's Budget in a Familiar Fight

The House of Representatives passed Rep. Paul Ryan's controversial budget proposal Thursday, voting along party lines (minus ten Republicans who defected), and though this thing won't see the light of day as a law, expect a lot about it in the coming months.

If recent budget battles are any indication, (and they are as they were fought over Ryan's last, similarly controversial budget proposal) Democrats will hit the yea voters for supporting cuts to Medicare, while Republicans will talk fiscal responsibility and point out that the Democrat-controlled Senate hasn't passed a budget in three years. Looks like the GOP wasn't as scared of the Ryan budget as they seemed.
