“I recommend you watch the recent debates,” Obama said at a fundraiser last night. “I’m thinking about just running those as advertisements." ABC's Devin Dwyer's reports a "slightly joking" (only slightly? you don't say...) tone in Obama's inflection, and that White House officials have said the president hasn't actually watched any of the debates and that he has only read reports about them. But even if he's just gleaning GOP debate information from reports (like ours Mr. President?) he clearly doesn't believe the debates (or his joke) got any less embarrassing than they were several months ago.
