Santorum Staff Amuses Reporters By Sending Out 'Pubic Schedule'

Rick Santorum's campaign sent out an e-mail to reporters Tuesday with an unfortunate typo: "MEDIA ADVISORY: SANTORUM PUBIC SCHEDULE," (they meant "public" schedule) and no, we journalists are not above having a little fun with it. "The immature giggles at Huffpost DC over Santorum's 'pubic schedule' typo are really amazing,' admits the Huffington Post's Sam Stein. "Oh no. No, no, no" says Politico's Dylan Byers.

We imagine the world is particularly amused given Santorum's positions on all things pubic, but we'll forgive the mistake, since it's just one letter away from the intended "public" after all. The mistake is probably the work of some pretty overwhelmed (and now embarrassed) campaign staffer. As The Atlantic's Garance Franke-Ruta tweeted, "Hope people get some sleep."
