Vice President Joe Biden sounds he's moving from blue humor ("how big a stick is it?") to insult comedy, telling a room full of donors at a breakfast event that they looked, "dull as hell." Washington Examiner's Charles Spiering (via Mediaite) has the full quote:
“I guess what I’m trying to say without boring you too long at breakfast – and you all look dull as hell, I might add. The dullest audience I have ever spoken to. Just sitting there, staring at me. Pretend you like me!”
The Examiner reports he spoke to a room of Turkish and Azerbaijani community members, who each paid $2,500 to stare dully at the Veep. It's hard to know how the joke played without video, but coming on top of yesterday's line about Obama having "a big stick," this is shaping up to be quite the comedy tour for our Vice President. Move over, Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
